Veil (2023)

A delve into the life of a once-successful tech mogul who now resides in a secluded and expansive house. Battling with depression and relying heavily on medication, his only escape from anxiety comes from the bizarre act of surrounding himself with water. However, his serene existence is quickly disrupted when he stumbles upon a chilling revelation. Through the mystical power of water, he unveils an eerie realm inhabited by malevolent forces. As he grapples with the terrifying concept, his psychologist becomes entangled in his daily life. Doubts begin to creep in, causing him to question the man's true identity. Is this man who he claims to be? Suspense and paranoia intertwine, leaving our protagonist trapped in a nightmarish elevated web of uncertainty and fear in Steven Meligari's most recent production. The short film, Veil, was the original concept springboard for the feature film length of the same name, soon to be released.
